Malak Berro, LLMSW

Founder and Owner

Malak is a licensed clinical therapist and has been in the field for more than 13 years. Her experience ranges from inpatient mental health clinics to private practice. Her practice specializes in depression, anxiety, and family conflict.  Malak’s modality is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which helps change thoughts, feelings and behavior. She is also EMDR trained; a powerful technique that helps clients who are stuck in past traumatic experiences. 

Malak believes that to heal you have to start from within. 

Eman Sobh, LLMSW

Therapist

Eman is a highly dedicated and compassionate mental health therapist. She offers a wide range of services to help regulate emotions, build resilience, and achieve personal growth. She thrives on creating a warm non-judgmental environment for her clients. Eman loves working with adolescents as well as adults. Her goal is to help you achieve a more fulfilling life. 

Meisaa Abbas, LLMSW

Therapist

Meisaa has a masters in social work and has had extensive training in a multitude of settings that include intensive care psychiatric units, co-occurring substance abuse and mental wellness facilities. She is passionate about working with children and families. Meisaa is here is help you live simply and to be more present and mindful. She helps aid each individual to reach deep within and “begin again.”

Shayma Amin, LCSW

Child Specialist

Shaymaa is a licensed clinical social worker with seven years of experience. Her expertise is mainly in family therapy. She worked at The Children’s Center in Detroit for 5 years, working closely with children in creating healthy coping skills and communication. She also has a concentration  focus on infant mental health. She is passionate about providing about providing meaningful support and services to all clients and is successful at implementing a person-centered rich approach to meeting clients where they are at. 

Kawthar Mousa, LLMSW

Therapist

Kawthar has extensive experience in outreach and community work. She has worked with refugee populations, has been a Girl Scout leader and mentor, as well as an advocate for women in abusive relationships. Kawthar’s therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, openness, and spirituality. Her expertise includes anxiety, depression cycles of abuse, spiritual connection and family conflict. Kawthar enjoys working with adults and teens.
